Organizing the Inside – Day 111 A Walk of Faith

15Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.  Ephesians 5:15, 16

Look carefully at your walk.
Do you look down when you are walking? Perhaps this is a sign that you are ashamed of something, maybe something from your past.

Do you look around you as you are walking? Perhaps this might indicate that you are more concerned with what people around you think.

Do you look behind you when you are walking? Perhaps this means you don’t want to let go of something that clearly you are walking away from; something you should walk away from.

Do you stare aimlessly as you are walking? Perhaps this is a sign that you don’t really care much about where you are headed.

Do you keep bumping into things as you are walking? Perhaps you need ask God to remove those barriers.

Do you keep stumbling as you are walking? Perhaps there are things in your life that shouldn’t be there.

Do you look straight ahead as you are walking? This may indicate that you are completely focused on what’s in front of you.

Do you look forward as you are walking? Perhaps this means you are excited about the future and very interested in where you are going.

Do you look up as you are walking? Maybe you except something wonderful from above.

Organize what you know about your walk.
It’s always a good idea to pause for a moment of introspection. Look inside of yourself and asks the hard questions that you’d rather just avoid dealing with.

Is your walk worthy of the call?
I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, Ephesians 4:1

God wants you to trust Him.  We walk by faith, not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7

He wants you to walk wisely, and wisdom is applied knowledge. Folly is joy to him that is destitute of wisdom: but a man of understanding walketh uprightly.
Proverbs 4:7

Consider God‘s will for your life. What do you know so far about God’s plan for your life?

STEP 1 Start with what you already know about what He has called you to do.

The beginning of wisdom is to acquire wisdom. Acquire understanding with all that you have.
Proverbs 4:7

STEP 2 Do it! (apply knowledge)

47That servant who knows his master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows. 48From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.
Luke 12:47, 48

This is a great post. We must all imagine our walk being sure that we have not detoured from the Will of God.

He Liz, great post today. All I have to say is keep walking no matter what. When you stumble and fall, get back up and keep walking. Never walk backwards but only forward. Walking backwards takes you where you were before and we don’t want to go there. Boy, this is really good!!!! Karen

Hey Karen, I know that’s right. We definitely have no time for moving backward. Thanks so much for stopping by.
