Organizing the Inside – Day 110 Ignite Your Confidence and Stop Struggling

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2

You can stop struggling
Many songs have been written about the Christian struggle.  They have us “falling down” “climbing rough mountains” and “trying to be strong.” I’m not a fan of songs that depict life as a Christian as one huge set of disappointments and obstacles, put in our way to somehow glorify God. This is not what Jesus meant when He promised to give us life more abundantly. There’s the struggle to get ahead, the struggle for recognition, the struggle for acceptance, and the biggest ones of them all, the struggle for prosperity and victory over sin. In spite of what you may have been taught, achieving God’s best for your life is not one great big struggle to make it in.

There is a place called “God’s Will”
In that place you find provision, encouragement, strength, insight, wisdom, peace, understanding, hope, love, courage and complete fulfillment and contentment. Many Christian are too busy struggling with sin, conflict, fear and doubt that they don’t make it to that place called, “God’s Will.” It is a type of Canaan; a place where you will find all of your needs and desires are met. I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God. Leviticus 25:38

You have a “will” of your own
Unless your will is yielded to God’s will you are spending your time either meandering  and complaining in the wilderness or with your mind stuck in Egypt. The Israelites made the choice not to trust God. They were afraid of the giants in the land, so much so that they didn’t appreciate the land which was flowing with milk and honey. Because of FEAR, FAILURE TO TRUST and UNBELIEF God’s chosen people missed out on their destiny. God would not allow them to enter the land of rest; and they roamed the desert until that entire generation died.

Will you live and die having never fulfilled God’s will for your life?
Decide today that you will NOT allow yourself to wander through the wilderness with fear and doubt. Decide NOT to allow your past to keep you in bondage; having the mindset of a slave. You are no longer enslaved to sin or fear or anything else from your past. Jesus died to make you free!  So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36 Once you accept the truth that you are no longer in bondage; that the promise land (God’s will for your life) is right there, He will guide you. Stop worrying about the giants in the land, stop longing for the way things were and embrace God’s plan for your life today. There is a land flowing with milk and honey all you have to do is enter in.
