Organizing the Inside – Day 103 The Master Scheduler

18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law… 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit let us keep in step with the Spirit. ~Galatians 5:18

Has your heart ever told you one thing but your head said something else?
Is that the Holy Spirit telling you to do something or for that matter not do something? Life becomes a lot less complicated when you listen to the Holy Spirit. Be quick to obey. Determine now that you will allow the voice of the Holy Spirit to regulate your schedule. No matter what you have planned or what you may be doing at the time.  If the Holy Spirit says, “Stop washing the dishes and go pray for your friend.”  Do you stop and go pray or do you say okay Lord in a minute; I want to finish these last few?

When we are lead by the Spirit there is so much liberty.
He frees us to serve Him and He guides us to do God’s will. If you follow the prompting of the Holy Spirit you are not concerned about following the law, nor are you subject to the law. “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” Hebrews 10:16

“I knew I should have ______.”
That was likely the Holy Spirit speaking to you. Maybe He told you to go to the store first before stopping at the bank, and perhaps He told you this for a reason. My experience has been that the Holy Spirit is an awesome organizer, time manager and  scheduler also He is very, very punctual. God has a big balcony view and He knows what’s around the corner long before you ever reach it, so trust Him.

When the Holy Spirit speaks to you, trust what you hear.
Don’t hesitate to do what the Spirit of the Lord tells you.  Sometimes God will require us to go off  script. The Holy Spirit may have different plans than you do, be open to a change in the game plan. Although your head may say, we are planning to do this or that or we need to be here or there, always without exception listen to your heart.
My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27
