Organizing the Inside – Day 228 She Finally Found The Place

But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus–the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.  Acts 20:24 (NLT)

Lord, are we there yet? Are we there yet?
For so long she searched for the place. She knew in her heart for years she really wasn’t there. She thought surely this can’t be the place, because something just doesn’t seem right. She heard others talk about the beauty of this place, and concluded this place is in a far and distant land. She reasoned that one would first have to die to go there. She thought this place sounded in some ways like you might imagine heaven to be. It was described to her as a place where joy, peace, love and contentment reside.

God gave people ideas, and passion, gifts and talent and dreams too, as a means by which He’d use to guide them there. Only those who embraced serving others in love could go there. Once there you never want to leave. You’d find everything you needed there and so much more. Everyone who lives there is abundantly provided for; yes, there is much overflow.

Upon arrival she simply couldn’t understand why she allowed so many things to detain her. It became clear that people, fear, foolishness, anger, greed and self-centeredness each played a part in delaying her arrival.

She looked up and saw that the windows of heaven were open and all that poured out almost took her breath away. She found the place that she’d searched for all those years.  Oh yes, it’s true she found the place where all the pieces seemed to fit together. She better understood the pain of her past, and the future no longer frightened her. She finally found “the place” right there in the center of God’s will; she discovered His purpose and plan for her life.

Have you discovered “the place”? God has a purpose and plan for your life. We’d love to hear a bit of your story.

You summed it up perfectly! God meant for us to have His Joy right here on earth!

Hey Candy, it’s all possible through the abundant life that Jesus came to give. God is a master planner!

What a timely post. My husband and I are currently seeking God’s “place” for our family. We are yielded and willing. And we know that’s where we’ll find peace.

Hey Cristal, May God guide you and your family to the “place” wants to use you for His glory.

You seem to be the vessel that God is using for confirmation on His direction for me. Liz, God is elevating me in a way I never thought possible. However, in being obedient and choosing God, people have tried to bring me down but I am still standing for God. When they see me cry they think I am weak but I am rejoicing because I know I am on the right path. They see me on my knees and think I have surrendered. I am giving God the glory for I know what He can do. Far to often we have to keep things short and simple but my God has done something for me more than man will ever fathom. I will write what He tells me to write no matter how awkward or foreign to others it is. Because I don’t know of God, Liz. I have a relationship with Him. He is real and everyday I will let others know what they are missing out on. I am overjoyed because two of your post have been confirmation. Glory to God. People have mistreated me because of my TAGS from God. Thank God I am what God says I am.
God has been good to me and I will say it loud while I have a voice. People act like they have nothing to share about God. Awesome God!

Hey there Shenine,
I’m so happy and I’m rejoicing and standing with you!! Because of the call that God has on your life, He has placed before you an open door that no man can shut. Be courageous in your pursuit to do His will. God sees your heart and those “border blockers” cannot hinder or harm you.
