Organizing the Inside – Day 162 When I Am Firmly Established

1But when Rehoboam was firmly established and strong, he abandoned the Law of the LORD, and all Israel followed him in this sin.
~2 Chronicles 12:1

Why did Rehoboam turn his back on God once he was firmly established and strong?  Is it easier to trust God when we feel we need Him most, especially when we are trying to carry out something? Do we rely more on God when there is no place left to turn?

What happens to our relationship with God once we are established and strong?

When things are going great,  and we  have become strong… then is the time to be careful and remember the one and only source of our strength.
