Day 52- God Has a Much Bigger Plan

You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.

Joseph knew that God had a bigger plan. How did Joseph deal with the awful betrayal of his brothers? After the death of their father Joseph’s brothers were certain they would pay for all the evil they had done. Joseph showed remarkable character, stayed focused and didn’t let the past throw him off course.

When people set out to harm you, keep in mind that God has a much bigger plan. Take God at His Word and forgive those who seek to bring harm.  In His darkest hour Jesus prayed, “Father forgive them, for they know not what they are doing.”

If you are going through difficult times and it seems like you’re suffering because of the selfishness, greed or evil of someone you trusted, know that God has a bigger plan, and what they meant for evil, God absolutely will use for your good.

God clearly had a plan for Joseph’s life and he was used by God to save the lives of many.  We see God’s masterful plan of salvation as Jesus suffered under Pontius Pilate, but God used what was meant for evil to save the countless lives of many, by bringing salvation to a lost and dying world.  No matter what you are going through, God will use your situation too, to make a difference in the lives of others.
