Day 33- More Money Than You Ever Imagined

8Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but give me only my daily bread.  9Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say, ‘Who is the Lord?’  Or I may become poor and steal, and so dishonor the name of my God.  ~Proverbs 30:8, 9

Have you ever thought about being rich?  I’m talking about more money than you ever imagined possible.  What if you woke up tomorrow a billion dollars richer?  What would you do with all that money?  Do you wonder if you’d keep serving God in the same way or if you’d be pretty busy for a while?
Would you still go to church on Sunday or would you be out shopping?
Who would you help?
What would be your first purchase?
God knows exactly what we would do with all that money… could this be part of the reason we don’t have it? What are you doing with all that God has entrusted you with today?

My prayer is that as my relationship with God grows closer, I become more and more trustworthy and learn to be content no matter how little or how much I have.
