Day 30- A Reflection , A Change

16Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Today I looked at my reflection and noticed a few more changes, that weren’t there a year ago. Hum? I began to think about the fact that now I meet more people who are younger than I am, while before most new people I met were usually older than I am. Then my thoughts went to things that I have yet to experience, places I still want to go and so many things that I still need to complete for the kingdom of God.

Tomorrow when I look at my reflection I hope it looks different than it used to.  My prayer is that yours does too. Though, from now on when I see my reflection, it will make me stop and think, but not about a gray hair or the wrinkle that invades my smile because of time gone by.  I will see my reflection different than before because I’m determined to see it through God’s word.  This change is a good one, closer to His image and His likeness.
