Day 29- God Listens and Cares
6But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears. ~Psalm 18:6
Can’t you tell when someone is really listening to you? Have you ever found yourself talking to someone and realized that they weren’t listening. How did it make you feel? Did you feel unimportant or insignificant or maybe you were a little embarrassed because you were sharing something personal and thought that person was listening? It’s hurtful to others when we divide our attention like watching TV when they are upset or hurting and need someone to talk to.
God always hears His children when we feel like talking. It pleases God when we reach out to Him for comfort and compassion. He wants to meet us at our point of need and is always right there to let us know He cares. Not only does God hear us but our cry actually reaches His ears… He listens. Sometimes you may want to talk to someone who has skin, who you can look to, to show empathy. You can tell by faith that God not only sees your tears He hears your cry and always has time to listen to what’s on your heart. No matter how big or small your problem not only is He listening, He sees and cares.
