Day 28- God Organizes First

1In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. ~Genesis 1:1-5

God is a God of order. For the first 25 verses of the bible, God made an investment in preparing things for Adam; He spent time organizing the earth. Before creating Adam and Eve God organized their environment.   There are many accounts in the bible of God setting things in order before moving His people forward in their calling. God demonstrates the principle of organization again when He gave Noah instructions to build the ark. He organized Noah by giving specific plans how to prepare for the destruction of the world.

Is your life organized? A common mistake many people make is to not take time to organize before starting a project or taking on a challenging task. God wants our lives to have order and focus. The best investment we can make each day is to take time to acknowledge God and He will direct our path. Also read Psalm 5:8 and Proverbs 3:6
