Organizing the Inside 365 Days

Empowering Christian Women To Get Organized and Discover God's Plan for Their Lives

Day 3- Do you have a form?

5They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!    ~Timothy 3:5

Many people consider themselves good Christians but it’s not according to the knowledge of God through Jesus Christ.  In certain communities  most everyone feels they grew up in a Christian home.  But what does that mean?  Going to church, knowing how to wave your hand instead of saying “Amen” is something many learn early in Sunday school. Besides many folks are quick to point out that they were raised in a “good Christian home.”  You learn to walk orderly to the front each Sunday and drop your offering in the basket feeling your obedience has been fulfilled. Taking your seat again in the pew you feel a sense of pride because of your good works.

God is not interested in your good works, most of which will be burnt up when Jesus returns.  God is interested in your heart.  What is your form?  Do you have a form of godliness?  Do you know how to look, act and finish all the clichés, like “God is good….all the time?”  The time is coming and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. If you are discovering that you only have a form of godliness it’s time for a change. Looking good on the outside is meaningless when your inside is hurting because of sin. God desires truth in the inner parts and in the hidden part He will make you to know wisdom.  It’s time to seek God’s wisdom and live a life of holiness. Allow God into the inner parts of your heart and ask Him to help you change.  For without holiness, no man shall see God.  (Paraphrased: Hebrews 12:14, John 4:23 Psalm 51:6)
