Day 1- Ignore Haters

1Sanballat was very angry when he learned that we were rebuilding the wall. He flew into a rage and mocked the Jews, 2saying in front of his friends and the Samarian army officers, “What does this bunch of poor, feeble Jews think they’re doing? Do they think they can build the wall in a single day by just offering a few sacrifices?  Do they actually think they can make something of stones from a rubbish heap—and charred ones at that?” 3Tobiah the Ammonite, who was standing beside him, remarked, “That stone wall would collapse if even a fox walked along the top of it!”
~Nehemiah 4:1-3

Have you set out to do something for the Lord?  Are you being mocked and ridiculed by others who aren’t doing anything?  The critics will always have co-signers who go along with whatever they are attempting to tear down with their tongues. The good news today is that if you are doing the will of God then He will send people who not only believe in the vision and have the skills needed to help you carry out the vision, but they also have willing hearts to serve.

Are there haters who want to see you fail?  If so, just know that even the great men of old had haters who stood on the sidelines or tried to hinder God’s plan.  Ignore the haters, don’t meet with them, and don’t eat with them.  Let God deal with them, be single-minded and stay focused on the vision. God will bring it to pass.

Stay away from the Nay sayers and envelop yourself only with those who share your passion and your dreams. The devil will send people into your life that will try to steal your dreams and your passion. People will parish for lack of vision.
